Potteries and Marble Works
Torbay used to have a rich industry in the manufacture of marble and pottery objects and art.
Not only are we looking at the manufacture and making of the items through old photographs but at the items themselves.
There is a collection of terracotta busts, figures and mottoware, so called because of the early tourist interest in the \"a present from\" etc style of souvenir.
Usually pottery is badly viewed on line. So in order to give it a little extra appeal some of the pots and busts will spin before your eyes.
