Torre Abbey


As old as anywhere in the Bay the Abbey has celebrated over 800 years of existence and been in the thick of local history. From the early Premonstratensian order era to the 300 years in the ownership of the Cary family and their dilemmas when William of Orange landed at Brixham to restore the protestant order.
There are a number of paintings, sculptures and objects on display at this site including a selection of objects spinning and large objects as moving panoramas.
