CONSERVATION
Caves are special places, TAKE CARE TO DAMAGE NOTHING. Remember; others left them for you to see: make sure YOU leave them for the next person.
A CONSERVATION CODE
- Clumsiness can wreck cave formations.
- Observe marked routes - they are there to protect the cave.
- Never leave litter, only leave footprints.
- Set others a good example - persuade them to follow it.
- Enjoy yourself, but do not spoil it for others.
- Responsible visitors take only photographs and memories.
- Vandalism means damage - help prevent it.
- Always stay with the group and follow the leader.
- Take care not to disturb anything found in the caves.
- If in doubt, stay out.
- Once damaged, caves can never be 'repaired'.
- Nature needs your help to safeguard her interests NOW !
