The Torbay Pumping House

While some of the pumping stations are more well known, there is actually one here in Torquay. It lies just off Riviera Way. It was never used and became the Longpark Pottery. It features in the novel by Eden Phillpottts, "Brunel's Tower". This book was said to be the best evocation of the pottery written.
