Agatha Christie was one of the Worlds greatest, best read, best loved and admired storytellers. Many of her stories were created from her own personal experiences and observations, they also figured very highly from scenes in and around her birthplace, Torbay and neighbouring South Devon.
Her own life and travels were just as interesting and gripping as her books. She first developed some of her plots involving poison whilst working as a dispensary nurse at the Town Hall hospital during World War 1.
